Person in Charge H.E.M.P.

In accordance with the European Directive 2009/104/EC, which has been adopted in the Netherlands in the Working Conditions Decree article 7.18 paragraph 9, lifting and hoisting activities must be carried out under adequate and competent supervision.

Virtually every company that deals with it regularly knows of procedures that must be followed when lifting and hoisting.

Thereby, in line with the Occupational Health & Safety Decree, someone is appointed who is responsible for the lifting and hoisting activities. The "Responsible Person", within the international Oil & Gas (Nogepa) industry also called "Person In Charge".

This course is designed for personnel, who are assigned to supervise and/or be responsible during:

Lifting- Exceptionaltransport - Machineremovals - Projects

The Person in Charge H.E.M.P. has the following entry level: - MBO working and thinking level in the relevant technical field - Demonstrated relevant work experience related to lifting and hoisting - Independent thinking, working and decision making level - Good verbal expression skills - Good contact skills. Trainees must not have limitations of vision, hearing functions and motor skills.

The trainee is required to wear a helmet, gloves and high safety shoes class S3 during the practical part of the training.

Content and purpose of training

The theory of this course taught by an experienced instructor. During these sessions which will be clarified with sheets and didactic means, among other things, regarding the Person in Charge.

V -tas provides customized training that fulfills this specific required knowledge.

The training is for anyone held responsible for performing lifting and hoisting operations.

In addition, the training also provides insight into a large number of legal aspects that enhance adequate and current knowledge, V-tas training is practically oriented and often directly applicable in practical situations.
